Yosemite

Days 91 - 93

I had one weekend away and wanted to spend the last of my money on something FAB. So i actually got on the fabled green tortoise bus

with a load of strangers and went for a road trip to Yosemite National Park.

Friday night we set off, slept on the bus. I met a woman called Millane. From New York. We had a real connection, which was really wierd. If i was straight, and a few years older... things would have happened, i'm sure!
So saturday morning, we awoke to find ourselves in the park already! This is Millane, after just waking up ;)

After the sun had risen fully, we stopped by a small river and made breakfast.

That's the Irish lot, chopping stuff.

Me and CATHY halved all the bagels all by ourselves.

We all went for a little paddle. Or were about too, except it was FREEZING.

After. Millane and I walked to the top of some waterfalls. It was hard work.

Matching Poses!

On a side note, i've never seen so many fat fat fat obese fat squirrels in my life. They climb UP your body to get at the food in your mouth! Madness!

Here's everyone playing in the natural, ice cold, water slide!

MMM HMM HONEY BEE!!!

Buying a honey bun made my day. But in the telephone video, there's a reason why beyonce only takes one bite and throws it out the window. Not real dough. Not real honey. Grossness.
One bite was more than enough.

So apparently i didn't take any more photo's!
Had an envigorating swim in a really cold river.
Played about with some Horses.
Made SMORES around the campfire.
Slept (next to Millane, of course) under the stars on the beautiful saturday night. Not as many stars as Vanuatu, but it's amazing that you can have such a 'wild' and 'natural' experience such as this, just 4 hours from such a great city. AMERICA REALLY HAS IT ALL.

I'll be back, California.
